In 1971, Crédit Mutuel invented bancassurance in France, leveraging new synergy between banking distribution networks and the insurance business. For over 50 years, Assurances du Crédit Mutuel has been developing offerings that contribute to the growth of Crédit Mutuel Alliance Fédérale.

Assurances du Crédit Mutuel is the insurance subsidiary of Crédit Mutuel Alliance Fédérale. As a major mutualist bancassurance group, Crédit Mutuel Alliance Fédérale has 30 million customers and 4,500 points of sale. Its efficient business model is reflected in its financial solidity, with net banking revenue of €17.3 billion and net income of €3.5 billion in 2022.
