Lawyer

The legal department is responsible for regulatory issues, takes care of product compliance, concludes contractual agreements and makes sure the insurer can meet its commitments. The advisory aspect is extremely important and helps the company with its decision-making.

Sascha Lamczak

Lawyer

The legal department advises on legal issues for all areas within ACMD. It sees itself as a service provider and develops legally compliant solutions together with the business. It acts as an interface to the legal departments of GACM, Targobank, the supervisory authority and external legal advisors.

Actuary

The actuarial department evaluates, models and manages insurance risks. As experts in mathematics and statistics, actuaries are involved in pricing and product development as well as managing the company’s solvency and technical provisions.

The actuary's tool: "Mathematical-statistical methods", the goal: "Evaluation and management of risks to be uncertain with high financial security to face events in the future. This is the only way to ensure that we, as insurers, always keep our promises to our customers.

Product Management

Product management in an insurance company is responsible for the development, management and optimization of insurance products throughout their entire life cycle. This includes market analyses, the definition of product strategies, cooperation with the actuarial department, sales and IT as well as answering regulatory and customer-oriented questions. The aim is to design competitive and customer-orientated products that are both economically successful and sustainable in the long term.

Finding the balance between customer needs, business goals and regulatory requirements is one of the main tasks of a product manager. We analyze market trends, develop new product ideas and work with colleagues from different areas to create innovative and competitive solutions. The challenge of designing complex insurance products in such a way that they are understandable and attractive for our customers is particularly exciting for us.
